One of the archipelago party’s somewhat more unique feature this year is a digital art round. In several places in Karlskrona, visitors can take part in history -connected works of art – via the mobile phone.

On July 30-31, Blue Science Park in Karlskrona invites you to an art installation. The project consists of several parts.

Some to experience, in several different places around the city, are so-called AR installations. By using the World Heritage app, the visitor can take part in the artworks, which in different ways describe the local history.

– It is great to be part of the project. It is a way for us to keep the world heritage alive, says Yvonne Pettersson Walther, business developer at Karlskrona municipality.

One of the artists in the project is the artist Love Antell, whose art can be seen in the tunnel at Hoglands Park. Even at the lighthouse at Stumholmen, a digital work is hiding.

Blekinge’s largest common artwork

The second part of the art project can be found in the technical studio Blue Hall on Blue Gate.

Here, international AI art is shown on the 25 meter wide LED screen.

Blekinge’s largest common artwork is also being built, where 200 paintings from artists around the county form a single large work consisting of sea, land and sky motifs.

– I am so happy that we managed to get to this, says Anna Enquist Müller, project manager from the art association Art in an eye point.
