Jeff Lynne Cancels Final ELO Show Due to Health Issues

Jeff Lynne has already had his, what’s believed to be, final show. Lynne, the frontman of the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), was supposed to have his last live performance — and headline — at the BST Hyde Park festival on Sunday and was closing out his “Over and Out” farewell tour. However, it’s canceled due to his health issues. On his Instagram, a statement was posted, which reads, “Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report that he will not be able to perform at tomorrow’s BST Hyde Park show. Ortom should set standard of always telling the truth

Business Politics is indeed a business for politicians, and to expect any type of morality is foolishness. Those who are into this business have compromised their characters and morality. They say whatever they have to say to convince the people and continue with their business. It was so surprising listening to the former governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, trying to pin narratives to his advantage on Agate Radio despite the severity of his poor performance as governor of the state. There is nothing so displeasing than listening to someone who abused...

Oyintiloye, a former lawmaker, gave the warning while addressing newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo. The APC chieftain said that the utterances and actions of many opposition leaders had started causing unnecessary tension across the country. Oyintiloye said that while the general elections were still almost two years away, the tension being generated in the country was becoming worrisome. Specifically, Oyintiloye said that a statement credited to former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, calling for violent protest for a change of government ahead of the 2027 elections, was unpatriotic. Oyintiloye, a member of the defunct Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), said that what the country needed at this point in time...
