Gov Abiodun Approves Additional Day Off For Ogun Public Servants

NASA Space Technology Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has approved a policy allowing officers on Grade Levels 01-14 to take two days off each week, while those on Grade Levels 15-17 will continue to have one day off per week, to cushion the effects of the hike in fuel price.In a statement released by the State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, it was noted that this initiative aims to alleviate the challenges faced by numerous workers, particularly regarding their daily commutes.Onasanya emphasized that this measure is anticipated to provide significant relief and improve service delivery by fostering a more motivated and energized workforce.He praised Governor Abiodun for his strong commitment to the welfare of employees and urged all accounting officers to promptly implement this policy within their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.They are to...
