CNN Names Jessica Dean Weekend Primetime ‘Newsroom’ Anchor; Promotes Donie O’Sullivan

Politics tamfitronics CNN has tapped Jessica Dean to anchor the primetime weekend edition of CNN Newsroom while she will continue to serve as a correspondent covering politics.Dean, who joined the network in 2018, previously was a congressional correspondent and a substitute anchor on the network’s dayside coverage. She led the coverage of the assassination attempt on the life of Donald Trump as well as Iran’s attack on Israel.The network also has promoted Donie O’Sullivan to CNN senior correspondent. For the past decade, he has reported on online misinformation and the spread of conspiracy theories and extremism.
