BREAKING: Former NLC President kidnapped in Kaduna

Politics tamfitronics A former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Mr. Takai Shamang, has been kidnapped in his hometown of Biniki, Kaura Local Government Area, Kaduna State.Shamang, 78, a renowned labour leader, was also the former president-general of the National Union of Electricity and Gas Workers (now National Union of Electricity Employees) from 1982 to 1989.The abduction was confirmed by his daughter, Mrs. Grace Abbin, on Sunday.According to her, Shamang was taken from his Biniki residence around 8:00 pm on Friday.Shamang is the founder and President of Gantys Aid for Widows, Orphans, and Needy Foundation (GAWON Foundation), a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable groups.
