Princess Anne asked Prince Harry a heartbreaking question after he realised he missed the late Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
The Duke of Sussex was in London with wife Meghan Markle when the-then Prince Charles informed them the Queen’s health was worsening on September 8, 2022. According to royal author Robert Jobson, Charles however “banned” Meghan from travelling to Scotland.
Harry claims his father later informed him “no wives” were travelling to see the Queen, with Princess Kate remaining in London with her children. Harry is said to have opted to take a private jet at this point.
He boarded a charter plane from Luton Airport, scheduled to land in Scotland at 8pm. By the time his plane landed however, news had already broken of the Queen’s death.

In his memoir Spare, Harry writes: “When the plane started to descend I saw that my phone lit up. It was a message from Meg: “Call me when you get this.”
“I looked at the BBC website. My grandmother had died. My father was King.”
After Harry arrived at Balmoral, he is said to have been met by his aunt, the Princess Royal, who had been staying with the 96-year-old monarch at the Scottish estate. Harry recalls the devastating question Anne asked when he arrived.
He added: “She asked if I wanted to see Granny. [I answered,] ‘Yes, I do.’”

Harry said his grandmother’s bedroom seemed “unfamiliar” when he went to see her. He described the moment as “difficult” but said he “kept on thinking how I’d regretted not seeing my mother at the end,” reported US magazine.
Hary, 40, says he was “in awe” of his grandmother for working through to her final days. The Queen met then Prime Minister Liz Truss just 48 hours before her death.
Truss succeeded Boris Johnson as Prime Minister on September 6. She resigned however just 49 days later – the shortest term of any PM.
Today (September 19) marks the two year anniversary of the late Queen’s funeral.

We're still about two years until the presidential primaries are off and running, and already some potential candidates are trying way too hard to get the upper hand. This story started with Sen. Ted Cruz calling Gavin Newsom "historically illiterate" on an episode of his podcast:— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) February 16, 2026"Historically illiterate," eh?
If you're in the perpetual victimization culture, how do you translate that?
Simple:Ted Cruz calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him. https://t.co/XC75ybiGKd— Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) February 16, 2026Dude, seriously? That reminded us of when Biden would say something incoherent and his handlers (and many in the media) would shame people for mocking his "lifelong stutter."
Maybe Newsom's worse off than we thought. Is your dyslexia the reason that you don’t know what...
Litecoin isn’t the market favorite it once was. Since the beginning of the year, the price has dropped more than 36%, sliding to around $45 before showing signs of life during the recent market bounce. Even with that recovery, LTC price remains stuck below $55, a level that now acts as a ceiling rather than support. The broader signals still lean cautious, and momentum hasn’t fully shifted in favor of the bulls.
That said, the chart structure suggests this compression could resolve higher. If buyers manage to push past $55 with strength, a move toward $70–$75 could quickly come into play.Drop in Open Interest Hints Long LiquidationsLitecoin’s open interest tells a clear story of fading conviction. Over the past few months, both price and open interest have trended lower, signaling long liquidation rather than aggressive new...
Egorov argues that internal disagreement indicates active participation rather than instability in decentralised governance systems.A disputed US$6.3m grant and a later 80% turnout vote illustrate how contention can drive engagement.A separate Aave conflict highlights unresolved tensions around fee flows, IP ownership and legal standing.Michael Egorov, founder of Curve Finance, has argued that disagreement within decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs) is a sign of health rather than dysfunction. DAOs operate through smart contracts and member voting to oversee onchain protocols, forming a decentralised governance structure distinct from traditional companies.
Egorov said that when proposals pass without resistance, it often reflects disengagement. “If everyone automatically agrees on something, it feels like people just don’t really care. They vote for whatever comes in, or they don’t participate at...
