Each ecotype indicates an ecological specialization with its own ecological and phylogenetic characteristics. The North Pacific is home to three known ecotypes of killer whales, called the transient, resident, and offshore ecotypes. While transient ecotype killer whales are mammal-eating, the resident and offshore orcas are fish-eating. The search for a missing Georgia man, who vanished Sunday while leaving home with his dog, continues. Atlanta’s 11 Alive News reported that on Sunday morning, James “Greg” Powell61, left his residence in Cherokee County with his dog. According to the Canton Police Department, Powell departed his home at 9:09 a.m. that Sunday.Police subsequently located his vehicle near the River Green Tennis Courts at 111 Racquet Club Drive in Canton. Powell’s dog, Ally, accompanied him when he left. He reportedly dropped the dog off with a sitter and never returned home. During Powell’s last reported sighting, he was wearing a large blue jacket and blue sweatpants.
