Politics tamfitronics Two mortuary attendants and five others have been arrested by the police in Osun State for selling human parts and water used in bathing dead bodies in the state.The Osun State Police Command Acting Spokesman, Emmanuel Giwa-Alade disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.Giwa-Alade gave the names of the mortuary attendants as Johnson Daniel, aged 43, and Adetunji Okunade, aged 42.He gave the names of the five others as Olaniyan Azeez, Balogun Temitope, Oladapo Hammed, Kazeem Rasaq, and Asaka Rauf.According to him, the suspects were nabbed following credible information from a concerned individual that Daniel, a mortuary attendant at Ipetu-Ijesa, was selling remains of corpses deposited at the mortuary where he worked to native doctors.“The suspects used these remains obtained from the mortuary attendant (Johnson Daniel) for various ritual purposes.
