BREAKING NEWS! Hungarian minister Rogán added to US sanctions list – UPDATE

Antal Rogán, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, has been added to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List. Those on the list are prohibited from conducting business with US entities,Telexreports. No other Hungarian citizens are included on the list. Rogán became a Member of Parliament in 1998, first through the national list and later via the regional list. He served as deputy leader of the parliamentary group until 2007, before becoming its leader from 2012 to 2015. Since 2015, Rogán has held the position of Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister.
