(RTTNews) - Swatch Group reported that its first half net result attributable to shareholders declined to 3 million Swiss francs from 136 million francs, prior year. Earnings per registered share was 0.01 francs compared to 0.52 francs. Operating profit declined to 68 million francs from 204 million francs. (RTTNews) - Volvo Car AB (VLVCY, VOLCAR-B.ST), a Swedish manufacturer of luxury vehicles, on Thursday announced that it reported a net loss in the second quarter compared to the previous year. The decline was largely driven by reduced wholesale volumes and negative currency impacts from a stronger Swedish krona during the quarter, though higher used car sales helped cushion the effect.
