TikTok star Jake ‘Goobi Gubbi’ Kind’s grandmother Mimmy dies aged 82 after years of battling cancer
TikTok personality Jake Kind - better known online as Goobi Gubbi - has revealed that his beloved grandmother has died at the age of 82.
The Philadelphia-based content creator, 27, shared the heartbreaking news with his 650,000-plus followers on Friday, September 5, posting a pre-recorded video his grandmother,Judith 'Judy' Bernstein, had filmed before her death.
'If you are watching this, it means I'm dead,' Bernstein,affectionately known as 'Mimmy,' said with her trademark blunt humor.

TikTok Technology Canada Inc. applied for a judicial review to challenge Canada’s order that China’s Bytedance Ltd. close its subsidiary in the country, citing national security risks.
In the filing at the Federal Court of Canada in Vancouver, the company argued that the government’s order is disproportionate and exceeds officials’ legal scope; that the national security review was procedurally unfair; and that the conclusion of national security harms was “unreasonable.” The filing asks that the order be set aside.
