‘Dandadan’ Gets Third Anime Season

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu's Slug manga announced a third season on Friday, revealing an announcement visual (pictured). Produced by Science SARU, the first season aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2024. The second season premiered on July 4 and ended on Friday. Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu streamed the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages. GKIDS licensed the anime in North America. Tatsu began drawing the action supernatural manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in April 2021. Shueisha published the 20th volume on July 4, with the 21st volume scheduled for an October 3 release. The manga has a cumulative ten million copies of its volumes in circulation.
