NASA Michoud Gets a Rare Visitor

NASA Space Technology Monika LuabeyaOct 18, 2024Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) passes over NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans in this Oct. 13, 2024, image. This comet comes from the Oort Cloud, far beyond Pluto and the most distant edges of the Kuiper Belt. NASA Selects Two Teams to Advance Life Sciences Research in Space

NASA Space Technology NASA announced two awards Thursday to establish scientific consortia – multi-institutional coalitions to conduct ground-based studies that help address the agency’s goals of maintaining a sustained human presence in space. These consortia will focus on biological systems research in the areas of animal and human models, plants, and microbiology. When fully implemented, the awards for these consortia will total about $5 million.Space biology efforts at NASA use the unique environment of space to conduct experiments impossible to do on Earth. NASA Space Technology From Abel Leonard, Lafia The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has officially unveiled its candidates for the upcoming local government elections, scheduled for November 2, 2024. The announcement was made late Friday at the APC Secretariat in Lafia by the chairman of the party’s primaries election committee, Mr. Tanimu Adabson. During the announcement, Adabson highlighted that the decision to select the candidates was made through a consensus approach. He explained that this method was in line with the party’s constitution, which allows for direct, indirect, or consensus primaries.
