Politics tamfitronics Police authorities in Lagos say its operatives have arrested a 37-year-old man, Azeez Olayiwola, over the possession of suspected fake dollars.Lagos State police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this on Thursday evening.Hundeyin noted that the suspect claimed to be a ‘Baba Ijebu’ lotto agent and was arrested during a search of his lotto game stand.“At about 11:30 p.m., during a coordinated raid of criminal hideouts in the Whitesand area of Ijora Badia, one Azeez Olayiwola, male, aged 37, who claimed to be a Baba Ijebu lotto agent, was arrested. Technology tamfitronics The Detroit Police Department has to adopt new rules curbing its reliance on facial recognition technology after the city reached a settlement this week with Robert Williams, a Black man who was wrongfully arrested in 2020 due to a false face match. It’s not an all-out ban on the technology, though, and the court’s jurisdiction to enforce the agreement only extends four years.
