Nigeria’s inflation rate dropped to 21.88% in July – NBS
						Nigeria’s headline inflation rate eased for the fourth consecutive month in July 2025, falling to 21.88 per cent from 22.22 per cent in June, figures from the National Bureau of Statistics have shown.
The latest Consumer Price Index report released on Friday revealed that the July rate was 0.34 percentage points lower than the previous month and 11.52 percentage points below the 33.40 per cent recorded in July 2024.
The NBS report read, “The Consumer Price Index rose to 125.9 in July 2025, reflecting a 2.5-point increase from the preceding month (123.4).
