Lifestyle Former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, has disclosed that his monthly salary as a Senator amounts to just N14 million. Kalu, who represents Abia North in the Senate, made this known during an interview on Channels Television on Thursday. The Senator refuted the widespread belief that lawmakers enjoy luxurious lifestyles while ordinary citizens face poverty. There has been ongoing debate regarding the monthly earnings of Nigerian federal lawmakers, with some suggesting they earn up to N21 million. “I earn N14 million for everything in a month.
