August 01, (THEWILL) The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has agreed to suspend its ongoing seven-day nationwide warning strike. Minister of Health, Prof. Ali Pate, disclosed this to journalists on Friday after a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the striking health workers in Abuja. Pate said the decision followed agreements reached between the Federal Government and the unions leadership during the meeting. However, the specific terms of the agreement were yet to be made public at the time of filing this report.
