Edo election: Youths besiege INEC office for inspection materials Edo election: SUPPORTERS of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, on Monday, besieged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Benin to protest an alleged plot by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to tamper with result sheets and other materials used during the September 21 governorship election. Led by the deputy governor-elect, Honourable Dennis Idahosa, the protesters blocked the entrance into the INEC office, causing gridlock around the area as they cautioned INEC against allowing anybody to tamper with the materials.
