Parenting advice: ‘My daughter won’t stop crying because of a fight with her friend’

This week on Parenting, one mother asked for help comforting her daughter after the recent breakdown of a long-term friendship. “My daughter is 13,” she told Moncrieff. “She came home very upset from school all last week. “It seems that her best friend is no longer speaking to her and the whole friendship group is now divided. “There doesn’t seem to have been one major incident or fight, but my daughter is now crying at home every night as she feels she’s lost her best friend. “I’ve tried chatting to her and...

Its appeal is obvious: the generative AI can produce essays, summarize lengthy texts, or answer complex questions in seconds. In a country with over 25 million students enrolled in schools, the potential impact on learning is profound. “AI is a fact of life. You can love it or...

How Would You Spec Your 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S?

Now, we’re very excited to eventually get behind the wheel of the 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S. With its new T-Hybrid powertrain, it becomes the most powerful road-going 911 ever, with 701 bhp on tap. Porsche says it’ll do 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds, and it’ll probably be even quicker than that in reality, so we’re sure it’ll ruin our stomachs in the process. Given the car has only just been revealed, though, it’ll be some time before we can report back on that to be sure. For now, though, a new Porsche 911 means a new Porsche 911 configurator for us to play with. Well, for the sake of justifying our procrastination time by converting that into content, allow us to present the Car Throttle editorial desks’ ways of spec'ing a Porsche 911 Turbo S. 992.2 Porsche 911...
