Henry Brothers appointed to build Nottingham health hub
Henry Brothers has been appointed to deliver a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in central Nottingham.
The Northern Ireland-based contractor said it will start enabling works at the site on Lister Gate this month, after contracts were signed between site landlord Homes England and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which will operate the facility.
The £92.2m-turnover contractor did not divulge the value of the deal, although data intelligence provider Glenigan estimates it at £25m.
Designed by architects Leonard Design, the building will be delivered with structural and civil engineering input from Arup.
The scheme is part of a national programme backed by the Department of Health and Social Care to improve diagnostic capacity in community settings. It will form part of the wider Broad Marsh regeneration, which includes a new public park and transport interchange.
