BREAKING NEWS | Herman Mashaba named ActionSA Joburg Mayoral candidate

SOWETO -"EN-GB">ActionSA has announced its leader, Herman Mashaba, as the party's mayoral candidate for Johannesburg in the upcoming Local Government Elections. Mashaba, who served as Johannesburg mayor from 2016 to 2019, was unveiled in Soweto after emerging as the preferred candidate from a shortlist of five. The 2026 mayoral race is expected to be fiercely contested. The City of Gold faces mounting issues including infrastructure decay, service delivery failures and a worsening water crisis.
