The obvious truth is: President Joe Biden has chosen to stop his presidential campaign and to step aside in favor of another candidate.It was the right thing to do. In the wake of his challenged performance at the debate, it had become clear to many people that Biden was no longer up to the strenuous tasks of a campaign, and certainly the presidency. I am not a physician, but there seems to be some kind of cognitive decline — as there has been, by the way, with former President Donald Trump as well.
