We urge the government not to consider appealing the judgement which freed Nnamdi Kanu

Lifestyle Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has reacted to the appeal court judgement which discharged and acquitted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, of the terrorism charges levelled against him by the federal government. National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, in a statement he released after the judgement on Thursday October 13, said the appellate jurists “are men of courage who decided to apply the true letters of the law.” The young wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, urged the federal government not to appeal the judgement, while also recounting how it said in the past that IPOB is not a terrorist group but a situation created by obvious marginalization against Ndigbo in the affairs of Nigeria.
