BOLO: Police Seek Tips on Missing Georgia Man, Last Seen Leaving Home with Dog

The search for a missing Georgia man, who vanished Sunday while leaving home with his dog, continues. Atlanta’s 11 Alive News reported that on Sunday morning, James “Greg” Powell61, left his residence in Cherokee County with his dog. According to the Canton Police Department, Powell departed his home at 9:09 a.m. that Sunday.Police subsequently located his vehicle near the River Green Tennis Courts at 111 Racquet Club Drive in Canton. Powell’s dog, Ally, accompanied him when he left. He reportedly dropped the dog off with a sitter and never returned home. During Powell’s last reported sighting, he was wearing a large blue jacket and blue sweatpants. The Canton Police Department is leading the investigation and is asking the public for any assistance in locating Powell. The Anambra State Police Command has issued a statement on the fracas that occurred earlier today at the Popular Onitsha main market.
