Federal prosecutors have charged a former general manager of US government defense contractor L3Harris's cyber arm Trenchant with selling secrets to an unidentified Russian buyer for $1.3 million.
According to the Justice Department, Peter Williams stole seven trade secrets belonging to two unnamed companies between April 2022 and June 2025 "knowing and intending those secrets to be sold outside of the United States, and specifically to a buyer based in the Russian Federation."
The court documents don't specify what the trade secrets involved, but Williams worked as a director and general manager at L3Harris' Trenchant division, which develops cyber weapons. According to the company's website, it supports "national security operations with end-point intelligence solutions," and is "a world authority on cyber capabilities, operating in the fields of computer network operations and vulnerability...

New York designer fashion brand Coach is opening yet another F&B establishment in Singapore — this time with The Coach Restaurant, which will debut at Jewel Changi Airport this Friday (Oct 31), a statement announced yesterday (Oct 28).
A modern steakhouse concept, the new restaurant draws inspiration from the brand's hometown of New York City with an inspired interior featuring leather nooks and full-sized yellow taxi cabs.
The restaurant overlooks Jewel's Rain Vortex and is a 56-seater including a 10-seat bar as well as a 10-seat chef's counter with views of the open kitchen.

8 Cat A EVs in Singapore to consider before the revised rebates for EVs kick in next year, Lifestyle News

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has announced that it will be revising the rebates for electric vehicles (EVs) in Singapore starting from January 2026.
From Jan 1, cars falling under the current Band A1 of the Vehicular Emissions Scheme (VES), which are mostly EVs, will see their rebate reduced from $25,000 to $22,500.
In addition, the Electric Vehicle Early Adoption Initiative (EEAI) will also be revised. The initiative currently offers a rebate of up to 45 per cent off the Additional Registration Fee (ARF) from an EV, capped at a maximum of $15,000. This cap will be reduced to a maximum of $7,500 from Jan 1 onwards as well.
In sum, this means that the total amount of rebates that EVs can enjoy will effectively be reduced from a maximum of $45,000 currently to $30,000 come next...
