NASA Challenge Wraps, Student Teams Complete Space Suit Challenges

After months of work in the NASA Spacesuit User Interface Technologies for Students (SUITS) challenge, more than 100 students from 12 universities across the United States traveled to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston to showcase potential user interface designs for future generations of spacesuits and rovers. NASA Johnson’s simulated Moon and Mars surface, called “the rock yard,” became the students’ testing ground as they braved the humid nights and abundance of mosquitoes to put their innovative designs to the test. Geraldo Cisneros, the tech team lead, said, “This year’s SUITS challenge was a complete success. It provided a unique opportunity for NASA to evaluate the software designs and tools developed by the student teams, and to explore how similar innovations could contribute to future, human-centered Artemis missions. My favorite part of the challenge was watching how...

Democrats in ‘strong position’ to retake the House, says campaign chair

The Democrat in charge of retaking control of the House said her party is in a “strong position to take back the majority” – and warned Republicans that they would face blowback if they try to gerrymander their way to keeping power. How the new Science Center should become a crowd puller

To promote science out of the ivory tower - that is probably the most primary goal of the new Science Communication Centers. This Center for Science Communication, planned from 2027, does not want to set this step only in terms of content, but also in fact in the Vienna City Scale: The Monday presented on Monday Architecture concept Because it provides a radical opening of the centuries -old building of the "old auditorium", which is between Wollzeile and Bäckerstraße is located and currently operated under "Aula of Sciences". In the future, there should be a public round in order to develop a double magnetic effect on the population, as it were.
