Kiambu Leaders Rally Behind Ruto, Vow to Prioritize Development Over Politics
Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has assured President William Ruto that the county remains committed to focusing on big development projects over the ongoing politics of the Mt. Kenya region.
The governor made the remarks on Sunday, August 10, 2025, while hosting President Ruto for a worship service at PCEA Joshua Matenjwa Church in Limuru Town.
“In this county we have our agenda clear-cut. Unlike others, we decided to reduce the volume of politicking to zero so that we can have a conducive environment for meaningful work. That is the mood here. This is the criteria to know those working and those engaging in talks only,” he said.
Wamatangi highlighted the county’s significant progress in healthcare, public service, and education.
