The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has revealed that he was not invited to the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Wike maintained that he had no knowledge of the NEC meeting or the party’s planned national convention scheduled for November 15 and 16. The PDP, during its NEC meeting held on July 24, had approved Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, as the venue for the convention, where a new National Working Committee (NWC) is expected to be elected.
