In an official family statement released on Monday, the family confirmed that the revered musician and founder of Shuga Band and Shuga Entertainment passed away in New Brunswick, Canada. The statement described Akiin Shuga as more than a musician, portraying him as a custodian of rhythm, culture, and the spirit of performance.
