Kerr County, Texas – 11 July 2025 President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived in Kerr County, Texas, today to witness the devastation caused by catastrophic flooding that has claimed at least 129 lives across the state. The couple toured the worst-hit areas, including the riverside community of Kerrville and the historic Camp Mystic, where 27 young girls tragically lost their lives. Jeff Lynne has already had his, what’s believed to be, final show. Lynne, the frontman of the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), was supposed to have his last live performance — and headline — at the BST Hyde Park festival on Sunday and was closing out his “Over and Out” farewell tour. However, it’s canceled due to his health issues. On his Instagram, a statement was posted, which reads, “Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report that he will not be able to perform at tomorrow’s BST Hyde Park show. Business Politics is indeed a business for politicians, and to expect any type of morality is foolishness. Those who are into this business have compromised their characters and morality. They say whatever they have to say to convince the people and continue with their business. It was so surprising listening to the former governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, trying to pin narratives to his advantage on Agate Radio despite the severity of his poor performance as governor of the state. Anyway, we have people who do not value honesty, therefore, they do not set standard of always telling the truth.
