VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam has been selected as the location for the Vizag Science & Technology (S&T) Cluster, as announced by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Govt of India. The establishment of this cluster is part of an initiative by the PSA, based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister's Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC), to foster self-reliance in India through science and technology.The city of Visakhapatnam is home to numerous science and technology centres, including AMTZ, DRDO, BHEL, RINL, and the largest Naval base in the country.
