Politics tamfitronics A former BBC Editor, Adejuwon Soyinka has been released by the Department of State Security Services following his arrest by operatives of the agency on Sunday morning.POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that Soyinka was whisked away by security operatives at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos upon arrival from London, United Kingdom.This newspaper gathered that Soyinka’s arrest generated widespread concern and condemnation with many Nigerians on Social media demanding for his immediate release.Although its currently unclear the reason for his arrest, He regained freedom after the intervention of the International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria and several top media executives and communication experts.More to come…
