Lifestyle Perspective on technology, especially AI, and its misuse
Walter advises Nigerians not to fight technology but rather to embrace it. He also explained how creatives can benefit from it while cautioning them.
“I think people shouldn’t fight technology, but also, don’t depend entirely on it. Tools like AI are meant to assist you, not replace you. You must come with your ideas, creativity, and effort. Technology should be a plus, not the main driver.”
Lifestyle Future of technology in Nigeria is bright
Daniel Walter is very optimistic about the future of technology in Nigeria. He shared his belief:
“Nigerians adapt fast. That’s one thing about us. You can already see it with the AI trend, everyone’s jumping in and making the most of it. The future of tech in Nigeria is very bright. I genuinely believe we’ll have more people in tech soon than in many traditional industries.”
Lifestyle How technology can improve Nigeria’s entertainment industry
The digital entrepreneur claimed that many Nigerian entertainers do not have access or proper education on the use of AI technology to their advantage.
“We need better access and education. If more creatives understand how to use tech from AI tools for editing, to smart monetisation and distribution, we’ll see a more independent, scalable industry. We need platforms that support and amplify homegrown talent using global tech.”
Lifestyle Pros and cons of technology in entertainment
There is nothing that has an advantage that does not have a disadvantage. Walter shares the pros and cons of technology in the entertainment industry.
“The pros are endless reach, creative freedom, and speed. But the cons? Over-saturation, loss of originality, and fake lives. People chase trends instead of telling real stories, and sometimes tech makes it too easy to skip the craft.”

He also admonishes the upcoming artists to focus on the ‘show’ and not forget the business part of entertainment.
“That’s a costly mistake. You can’t eat vibes. If you want longevity, treat your brand like a business from day one. Register your name, protect your IP, get a manager, and study how money flows in the industry, not just lights and camera.”
Lifestyle Daniel Walter as an entertainer
Ajebo Danny is also a content creator who loves telling stories. He explained his unique style of storytelling.
“I’m more on the content creation and storytelling side. Whether through books, social media, or digital platforms, I love weaving stories that resonate with people. That’s my entertainment angle. I bring education and emotion into digestible formats.”
Speaking more about his writing and his recently published book, After the Applause, Ajebo revealed that he has been writing for a while.
“I’ve been writing for a very long time. But this particular book is the most personal one I’ve ever written. I had it in my drafts for years, and it’s been hard to put out because a lot of the stories are deeply personal. But I finally decided to do it.”
A lot of people write for different reasons. He shared his reason for writing. He said it is a means of expressing himself.
“This book is me putting out a part of myself that most people, especially public figures, won’t want to share. After the fame, the attention, and the wins, there are still real struggles that we go through. But people don’t like to show that side. I just feel like people need to know: whatever you’re going through, even those who seem to have it all go through it too.”
Walter noted that the book is open to everyone, not gender specific and has chapters that will resonate deeply with anyone. He shared the inspiration behind it.
“It came from a quiet place, from pain, reflection, and honesty. It reflects everything I couldn’t say out loud. It’s real, not poetic. It’s me. I want them to feel seen. I want them to realise they’re not alone, that no matter how bad it looks, someone else out there, maybe someone they think has it all together, is silently going through the same thing. We just don’t always show it, because people might pity you, mock you, or turn your story into content. But it doesn’t mean we don’t feel it.”
