For his part, the researcher at Microsoft and member of the hackathon jury, Akram zaytar stressed that this edition has focused on the development and future of AI with an accent on the African continent, putting the craze of Moroccan students on this theme of AI in connection with the Moroccan context.

Placed under the aegis of the School of Science and Engineeringthis event (August 25-29) experienced the organization of conferences and practical workshops, led by renowned experts.

The meeting treated the foundations of a responsible artificial intelligencewith an introduction to ethical and methodological issues, from the construction of a safe and trustworthy AI.

There was also talk of Role of women in AIthrough testimonies and reflections on leadership, equity and inclusion, as well as AI applications with regard to social impact and sustainable development.

At the end of this edition, the presentation of the projects carried out as part of the hackathon and the prize ceremony and certificates to participants.
